Every now and then a band comes along at the right time and place that's just waiting to explode. SixDollarSuit seems to have burst onto the scene at that time and the Midwest is the place. Over the last year, sixdollarsuit has been hard at work crafting a sound that is as unique as it is fun to dance to. Pulling influences from jazz, funk, electronic and fusion the boys have created something special that is all their own.Known for their amazing live performances and light show, sixdollarsuit has been sharing the stage with some well known acts in the jam/electronica scene. These acts include: Future Rock, Two Fresh, Papadosio, Ep3, Groovatron, and more. With an intense passion for playing live music, the band has been working incessantly on creating fresh new tracks.
In only a short amount of time the group has created a buzz around the midwest as a band to see live, sixdollarsuit skillfully weaves classical theory based music with improvisation and synth laden grooves that bring together traditional components with new age technologies. Ready to hit the road this summer and throughout the rest of the year, sixdollarsuit is finally ready to take their sound outside of the Midwest and unleash it across the country.
